A Guelph female arrested on the weekend for kicking a police officer and damaging a cruiser has been arrested again.

On Sunday afternoon, police were investigating an allegation the female breached a release condition by contacting a male. She was located at a residence in the west end and arrested, but began struggling with police and kicked one officer three times, say Guelph police. While being transported to the police station she managed to get out of her handcuffs and damaged a light bar inside the cruiser.

The female was released on an undertaking with conditions, including one again banning her from contacting the male.

Less than 24 hours later, just after 1 p.m. Monday, police allege she showed up at the male’s residence on Woodlawn Road West. When she was directed to leave she damaged a phone and some plants in a garden. Police again located her at a west-end residence and she was arrested.

A 19-year-old Guelph female faces an additional charge of failing to comply with an undertaking. She was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
