Woman charged with uttering threats and drug possession

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH - On July 12, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted by employees at a bank in Mount Forest after a patron made some threats.

Investigation revealed that a female had entered the bank and made enquiries. The female became upset and uttered threats towards the employees at the bank. The female then left the bank.

On Aug. 5, 2017 the female re-attended the bank. Employees recognized her and contacted OPP. Officers attended and were able to locate the female leaving a residence.

Forty-six-year-old Tracey Lynn Reid of Southgate Township has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm contrary to the Criminal Code. She has also been charged with possession of meth contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act. She was held for bail court.

There were no injuries to anyone involved.
