An Ayton male knew he was in trouble when Guelph police officers approached his motor vehicle Wednesday afternoon, report police.
The male, who is bound by five different driving prohibitions, got out of the vehicle and approached with his wrists together to be arrested.
Officers were in a parking lot on Willow Road near Bagot Street investigating another matter just after 3 p.m. Wednesday when they observed a vehicle entering the parking lot. Investigation revealed the validation sticker on the license plate was stolen.
A 36-year-old Ayton male is charged with five counts of driving while prohibited, breach of probation, possessing stolen property and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. He will appear in a Guelph court Oct. 15.
