CENTRE WELLINGTON – Travellers who have been to the Elora and Fergus area can relive some of those memories in a social media photo contest.

Puzzle Now, Visit Later is a contest encouraging people to share photos to Instagram or Facebook of local areas they are most looking forward to revisiting after travel restrictions are lifted.

Winners will have their photos transformed into puzzles.

“I cannot wait to see all of the amazing memories that have taken place in Elora Fergus,” Mayor Kelly Linton said in a press release.

To enter the contest, Elora Fergus Tourism is asking people to tag @elorafergus and use the hashtag #eloraferguspuzzle. Winners will be randomly selected on May 5 with each winner receiving a puzzle bearing the likeness of their photo.

Full contest details are on the Elora Fergus Tourism Facebook and Instagram pages.

According to a press release, neighbouring villages Elora and Fergus are popular for their natural scenery along the Grand River, historic buildings, quaint downtowns and a variety of festivals.

“As soon as travel is deemed safe, we will have our arms wide open to welcome visitors back to our amazing community,” Linton said in a press release.
