A Guelph woman faces impaired driving charges after police were called to a disturbance Thursday afternoon.
Approximately 4 p.m., Guelph police report they were called to a disturbance in the area of Elizabeth Street and Wheeler Street and found a man and woman arguing. Investigation revealed the female had been driving and officers noted signs of impairment.
She was arrested and returned to the police station, where testing revealed she had more than the legal amount of alcohol in her system. The 37-year-old woman is charged with impaired driving.
