Investigators are asking for assistance in identifying a person in connection with a theft incident in Fergus, according to a news release.

On April 11, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of an occurrence at a retailer on Tower Street South. It was reported that two unknown persons working together distracted a clerk and shoplifted thousands of dollars in cosmetics.
