Update
Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's Robbery Unit have made an arrest in connection to this investigation. 

On Aug. 4, 2021, police arrested a 20-year-old Guelph female. The accused has been charged with one count of robbery.

Waterloo Regional Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the accused. 

The female is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 15, 2021.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service's, Robbery Unit continues to investigate a robbery that occurred at the Cambridge Centre Mall.

On July 26, 2021, at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business within the mall. An unknown female allegedly entered the business and concealed several items into her purse. Staff members attempted to confront the female suspect who assaulted one of the members prior to fleeing the mall on foot. The female was last observed walking north on Hespeler Road, towards Bishop Street North.
