Guelph Police charged a 62-year-old Guelph man with impaired driving Friday after noticing some suspect driving.

Police say that at at 8:27 p.m. an officer observed an adult male driving at a slow speed on Victoria Road North. The male then made a slow, unsteady right turn on to Brant Avenue, crossing the center line.

A traffic stop was initiated. Police spoke with the male, he ultimately failed a roadside breath test and he was subsequently arrested.

The man's driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

He will appear in court on Dec. 18.
