Pair of vehicle break-ins reported

In one case financial cards taken were later used to make purchases

Guelph Police report that sometime overnight Tuesday a vehicle parked outside a residence near the intersection of Eramosa Road and Delhi Street was entered. Entry was gained as the vehicle was left unlocked. A wallet containing numerous financial cards was taken.

Between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday the financial cards were used four times for a total of $216.87 worth of purchases from a store located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North.

Sometime between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday a motor vehicle parked outside a residence near the intersection of Victoria Road North and Eastview Road was entered and a vehicle validation sticker valued at $240 was taken.
