Police ask for video footage in homicide investigation

Police are investigating an alleged murder at 387 Waterloo Ave.

Guelph Police are asking for video surveillance footage as they continue to investigate a homicide earlier this week.

A report of gunshots brought police to a townhouse complex on Waterloo Avenue near Woodycrest Drive just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

Arriving officers found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police have said they believe this was a targeted incident.

The suspects are described as two Black males wearing all dark clothing.

The pair were seen exiting the driveway of 387 Waterloo Avenue a few minutes after 10 p.m.

Police are focusing on the time block between 9:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.
