Police look to identify suspect in credit card fraud investigation (2 photos)

It is alleged that the suspect provided false credit card numbers to employees at two separate businesses

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On March 27, 2018, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fraud at two businesses in the Town of Fergus.  

In both cases (it is alleged that) the unknown suspect provided false credit card numbers to the employee to pay for items. The credit card transaction was later declined.  

OPP is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect from the photo associated with the fraudulent transactions. Eye witness reports estimate the suspect to be a white male, approximately 5'11", slim build, and approximately 25 years old.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing white sunglasses, a black parka with fur collar and a dark red RVCA ball cap. He was operating a dark hunter green Mazda Protégé with what appears to be after-market rims. The year of the car is estimated to be early 2000s.
