On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at approximately 9:40 a.m., a university-aged female was walking northbound on Edinburgh Road South between the river and Wellington Street west when she was sexually assaulted by an unknown male walking southbound toward her. The male then continued southbound on Edinburgh Road and there was no further conversation or physical contact. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The male is described as white, 40-50 years of age, 5’6” – 5’8” tall with straight brown hair to the bottom of his ears, wearing shorts and a t-shirt (unknown colours).
