OPP and OFM investigate suspicious fire at sawmill property
CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP – Today at approximately 2 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded along with fire crews from Centre Wellington, Town of Erin, Guelph-Eramosa and the City of Guelph to a reported structure fire at a sawmill on the Sixth Line just north of Wellington Road 22 in Centre Wellington Township.
Palettes of hardwood were destroyed in the fire and no injuries were reported.
The Wellington County OPP Crime Unit along the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall are investigating the suspicious blaze.
