Traffic stop leads to drug charge for Guelph woman

On May 25, 2018 at approximately 6:35 p.m., while on routine patrol, Guelph police stopped a car for a Highway Traffic Act infraction. It was learned that the driver was wanted on a warrant for theft under $5,000. The women was arrested on the warrant.

During the arrest, police located what is believed to be crystal meth. Delainie Betts, a 35-year-old Guelph female, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was given a court date of July 3, 2018.
