Transportation theft, calls for service

The following are news releases issued by the Guelph Police Service: 

 On Aug. 15, 2018 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Guelph Police were called to the downtown area in regard to a female not paying for a cab fare.

The female was located in the downtown a short time later and was arrested for Transportation Fraud, as well Being Intoxicated in a Public Place.  Katie Hass, a 31-year-old Guelph female, is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 25, 2018. 

In the last 24 hours, Guelph Police dealt with 243 calls for service.
