TURKEY POINT –Provincial police are urging parents to remind their kids about the dangers of drugs, and consuming anything given to them by a stranger.

Norfolk County OPP say first responders were called to Turkey Point Beach on the coast of Lake Erie last Thursday, after it was determined two 14-year olds, one from Kitchener and one from Guelph, met a group of unknown people from the Brantford area, and went to a vehicle where they consumed drugs.

Once both were on the beach, someone concerned called 911, after noticing the two were vomiting and falling asleep on the beach.

Both were taken to hospital for treatment.

Their condition is unknown.
